Business Sale/Succession Planning – Mechanical Repair | Collision Repair

Presented by Brad Mewes | Financial Insight

Multi-million dollar acquisitions continue to dominate the press. The majority of shop owners would like to retire “in the next few years”. But few have succession plans in place. Have you ever wondered how much your business is worth? Or who will buy your business? Would you like to pass your business to your children, but are not sure how? If you do not have family in the business, what are your options? Is there an “optimal” time to sell, and if so, how do you know when that is?

In this seminar we will discuss this and much more. What are the steps you need to take now to prepare your business for a sale in 5 years? How do you maximize your selling price? Have you considered your tax liability? How much is your business worth? How do you find the best buyers for your business? Which buyers will pay you the most for your business? What do buyers look for in a business transaction?

Join Brad as he walks you through the steps you need to take right now to successfully transition out of your business. You will walk away with tools to confidently and effectively exit your business, whether that is in 5 months or 5 years.
